Ben GGEA Sports has fundamentally changed how rewards work in FC 26 Ultimate Team with the introduction of Tokens. This is not just a side feature or a limited-time promo mechanic—EA has stated that Tokens will become the primary way to earn rewards in FUT moving forward.
Starting with the Festival of Football campaign, players will now earn a unified currency across all modes to spend in a dedicated Token Store, giving you much more control over what you actually unlock.
Here is exactly how the new Token system works, how to earn them, and what the best current rewards are.
How to earn Festival of Football Tokens
During the summer content cycle, you will earn Festival of Football Tokens simply by playing the game. Because the system is unified, you are not forced into a specific mode to grind. Tokens can be earned across:
- Rivals
- Squad Battles
- Rush
- Live Events
- Select Objectives (including weekly Journey of Nations objectives)
- Select SBCs
Crucially, Festival of Football Tokens will not be available in store packs. You cannot buy your way through this system; it is purely a gameplay-driven grind.
Token limits and Swap SBCs
There is a strict cap on how many Tokens you can earn:
- Weekly limit: 1,000 Tokens
- Total campaign limit: 5,000 Tokens
If you are looking for a fast way to bump up your weekly Token count, EA has released a set of weekly Token Swap SBCs. These allow you to exchange high-rated fodder directly for Tokens. You can complete each of these once per week, and they do count toward your 1,000 Token weekly limit:
- 83 OVR Token Swap (22x 83 OVR) – 10 Tokens
- 84 OVR Token Swap (18x 84 OVR) – 10 Tokens
- 85 OVR Token Swap (8x 85 OVR) – 10 Tokens
- 86 OVR Token Swap (8x 86 OVR) – 15 Tokens
- 87 OVR Token Swap (7x 87 OVR) – 30 Tokens
- 88 OVR Token Swap (5x 88 OVR) – 40 Tokens
- 89 OVR Token Swap (5x 89 OVR) – 50 Tokens
- 90 OVR Token Swap (5x 90 OVR) – 60 Tokens
- 91 OVR Token Swap (5x 91 OVR) – 75 Tokens
What are the best rewards in the Token Store?
The new Token Store contains Packs, Player Picks, Campaign Player Items, Evo Consumables, and Evo Cosmetics. The store is live for 48 days, but it is important to know that the stock is split between static items and items that refresh weekly.
The biggest "chase" rewards are static and will not change. However, every week, the store will refresh with:
- 3 new Campaign Player Items (replacing the previous 3).
- 1 new low-cost Evo Consumable (100 Tokens) offering a different stat boost.
- 1 new Evo Cosmetic matching the current campaign shell.
- Updated Packs and Player Picks that reflect the current active promo.
Current Token Store highlights
Right now, the top-end of the store features five massive Greats of the Game ICONs. If you save up 2,500 Tokens, you can unlock:
Another massive highlight is The Main Event Evo for 2,000 Tokens. This is an Elite Evolution that upgrades an eligible player to a 97 OVR with an ICON rarity shell and four PlayStyles+.

FUT Champions Tokens
Starting in Season 8: Festival of Football, FUT Champions is also moving to a token-based reward system with a dedicated store.
FUT Champions Tokens are earned through Weekend League. Players who finish with a high win count will still earn additional Coins on top of their Champions Tokens.
The new system is designed to give players more flexibility based on their skill level and availability. Players who only pick up a few wins each weekend can save their Champions Tokens over multiple weekends and put them towards bigger rewards. Players who consistently finish with high win counts earn additional Coins alongside their tokens, giving more control over which specific rewards to target.
FUT Champions Token Store
The dedicated Champs Token Store contains:
- Packs.
- Player Picks.
- National Pride Red Player Items.
- Evo Cosmetics.
Weekly rotating rewards
These rewards refresh weekly:
- National Pride Red Player Items, with 3 new player items replacing the existing 3 each week.
- Packs and Player Picks, with certain rewards updating each week to reflect the currently available campaign items in packs.
