Pre-Season has been featured in FIFA 22 and will make it's return in FIFA 23 being the last promo of the Ultimate Team cycle before the early access of EA Sports FC 24 comes along.
The Pre-Season promo will feature an assortment of players in packs, including some "Best Of" players as well as FUTTIES cards being re-released such as the much sought after FUTTIES Cristiano Ronaldo.
We will also be seeing a lot of transferred cards as objectives and SBCs so keep an eye out for some of the summer's biggest signings coming to Ultimate Team with the potential of seeing cards like Ousmane Dembele and Jude Bellingham at their new clubs.
Along with that we should also see some carryover rewards that we can avail in EA Sports FC 24. Stay tuned to see what they are and when we can expect to see them in game.
What cards are available in packs during Pre-Season?
There are a variety of cards in packs right now, featuring players from promos such as:
- FUTTIES
- Team of the Season
- Team of the Year
- Shapeshifters Icons
- Shapeshifters
- UCL Road to the Final
- FUT Birthday Icons

What rewards can we unlock for EA Sports FC 24 during Pre-Season?
Each week during Pre-Season in FIFA 23 you should be able to unlock carryover rewards for EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Team.
"Join the Club" objectives as well as "New Era" Upgrade SBCs will allow players to unlock rewards for their EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Teams.

When will we get our unlocked rewards in EA Sports FC 24?
The rewards unlocked during Pre-Season for EA Sports FC 24 will be made to players who log into the game after 12th October, 2023 after the launch of the new game.
The rewards need to be redeemed within 1 month by logging into the game, which means before 12th November 2023.
If you fail to log into the game before that date, you will lose out on your earned rewards.
When does Pre-Season start in FIFA 23?
The Pre-Season promo starts in FIFA 23 on Friday, 1st September, 2023.
It is marked by the release of a fresh "Best Of" players in packs as well as the new Join the Club objective and the New Era Upgrade SBCs.
When does Pre-Season end?
EA have said that this will be a 3-Week promo.
Given that the end of those 3 weeks coincide with the launch of the EA Sports FC 24 Early Access, that should definitely mark the end of the promo.
It is safe to say that the Pre-Season promo will end on Friday, 22nd September.
