Welcome to my predictions for the GPFBL Team of the Season in EA FC 24! Today I’m going to be giving some insight into who might be in TOTS this year from the GPFBL, as well as their potential stats and PlayStyles.
I’ll be predicting a Starting XI with 6 subs, as well as a few honorable mentions at the end who could be in with a shout. To note, this is a prediction of what I think EA will do for Team of the Season, rather than a list of who I think is the most deserving.
TOTS GPFBL Starting XI
Goalkeeper: Maria-Luisa Grohs - Bayern
Bayern were incredible this season, especially in defense, having conceded only 6 goals all season. Grohs was a big factor in this, as one of the best keepers in the league.
Right Back: Giulia Gwinn - Bayern
Our second Bayern player in the team, Gwinn had a great season at right back for Bayern. In addition to her strong defending, she has contributed 3 goals and an assist going forward as well.
Center Back: Jana Feldkamp - Hoffenheim
Hoffenheim have had a solid season, reaching 4th in the table at time of writing. Feldkamp provides the ability to win headers at the back as well as spray long balls forward in attack.
Center Back: Glódís Perla Viggósdóttir - Bayern
Viggósdóttir was the rock at the back for Bayern in their dominant season. As previously mentioned, Bayern’s defense has been fantastic. Similar to Feldkamp, she’s able to play a nice long ball forward.
Left Back: Katharina Naschenweng - Bayern
Bayern’s dominance continues with Naschenweng, who had a great season for Bayern’s defense. She also contributed 3 goals and 3 assists going forward.
Center Midfielder: Georgia Stanway - Bayern
Bayern’s dominance continues into midfield, where Stanway was one of the stars of the league. She’s a real do-it-all midfielder who can contribute in every phase of play. With 5 goals and 4 assists in addition to being a valuable screen in front of the defense, she’s one of the best in the women’s game. She’s also an Ultimate Team fan favorite.
Center Midfielder: Chantal Hagel - Wolfsburg
Although Wolfsburg will finish second in the league, it’s been a difficult season by their standards. However, Hagel has been one of the best midfielders in the league as a consistent performer for Wolfsburg. Her 5 assists have been important for her club scoring goals.
Center Midfielder: Laura Freigang - Frankfurt
Frankfurt are third at time of writing, in what has been a good season for the club. Freigang has arguably been the club’s best player, contributing 7 goals and 2 assists from midfield. She’s strong both in attack and in defense while pressing.
Right Wing: Nicole Anyomi - Frankfurt
Another strong performer for Frankfurt, Anyomi has provided 9 goals and 2 assists for the club. Her rapid pace and lethal finishing are likely to make for a strong TOTS item.
Striker: Ewa Pajor - Wolfsburg
Pajor is leading the league in goals and has been fantastic for Wolfsburg. Although she has agreed to join Barcelona next season, her Wolfsburg item will be a great representative of the women’s Bundesliga. With 13 goals and 5 assists, she deserves one of the best items in the league’s TOTS.
Striker: Lea Schüller - Bayern
Schüller led the line well for Bayern, contributing 9 goals and 5 assists so far this season. As Bayern’s best attacker, she’s been critical to their title charge. She should have a strong TOTS item.
TOTS GPFBL Mini-Release, SBCs & Objective
Left Back: Nina Lührßen - Bremen
Lührßen had a good season for Bremen, and Ultimate Team players may remember her Squad Foundations player item earlier this season.
Center Midfielder: Barbara Dunst - Frankfurt
Dunst was another strong performer for Frankfurt this season. She’s adept at dribbling, passing, and can also intercept passes well.
Center Midfielder: Vanessa Fudalla - Leipzig
Although it hasn’t been a good season for Leipzig, Fudalla has performed well. She’s versatile enough to play in both midfield and attack.
Attacking Midfield: Lea Karólína Vilhjálmsdóttir
Although Leverkusen’s women didn’t have as good of a season as their men’s side, Vilhjálmsdóttir had a good season as one of the best young talents in the league. Some may have used her Future Stars player item this season.
Left Wing: Klara Bühl - Bayern
Another of this year’s Future Stars, Bühl was another great player for Bayern in a dominant season.
Striker: Alexandra Popp - Wolfsburg
Alongside Pajor, Popp has been another strong Wolfsburg attacker. She’s had a few player items this season, including a very strong Team of the Year item.
