Welcome to my predictions for the Women's Super League Team of the Season in EA FC 24! Today I’m going to be giving some insight into who might be in TOTS this year from the WSL, as well as their potential stats and PlayStyles.
I’ll be predicting a Starting XI with 6 subs, as well as a few honorable mentions at the end who could be in with a shout. To note, this is a prediction of what I think EA will do for Team of the Season, rather than a list of who I think is the most deserving.
TOTS BWSL Starting XI
Goalkeeper: Khiara Keating - Manchester City
Keating has helped lead City to the best defensive record in the league at time of writing. Her saves have been crucial in City’s title charge, and her ability to help build play from the back is also helpful to the team.
Right Back: Ève Périsset - Chelsea
Périsset has been a reliable defender from right back as Chelsea have rotated their squad quite a lot. Her defensive solidity has helped Chelsea to yet another title push and the second fewest goals conceded.
Center Back: Lotte Wubben-Moy - Arsenal
Wubben-Moy has been a consistent presence at the back for Arsenal with the league’s third best defense. She possesses the ability to play long passes from the back in addition to being a solid defender.
Center Back: Alex Greenwood - Manchester City
A critical player for both club and country, Greenwood has been one of City’s best players in their title charge. Similar to Wubben-Moy, she has great long ball playing ability from the back to create chances in an instant. Ultimate Team may have used her Triple Threat item, which was very solid for the time.
Left Back: Ashleigh Neville - Tottenham
Neville is a versatile player who can play on either side of the defense. Although it hasn’t been a great season for Spurs, Neville has been a reliable defender. Ultimate Team users will remember her Triple Threat player item fondly.
Center Midfielder: Katie Zelem - Manchester United
Although United haven’t been able to replicate last season’s title push, Zelem has been a great creative midfielder from deep. Capable of spraying passes and whipping in lovely set pieces, she has been one of the best midfielders in the WSL and is tied for the most assists.
Center Midfielder: Erin Cuthbert - Chelsea
Cuthbert is an all-action midfielder who contributes to the team in every phase of play. A dynamic player with an eye for goal, Ultimate Team users will likely remember her impressive Road to the Knockouts player item.
Center Midfielder: Grace Clinton - Tottenham
Clinton has done a great job of providing goals from midfield for Spurs. With 4 goals and 3 assists this season, her attacking talents have helped her club make the most of a difficult season.
Right Wing: Chloe Kelly - Manchester City
Undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in the league, Kelly has been a key player for City’s title charge. With 5 goals and 4 assists in the league, she has been a difference maker. Ultimate Team players will know that her player items are always very good.
Left Wing: Lauren James - Chelsea
Another star forward in the league, James has lit up the league with 13 goals and 2 assists in 15 games this season at time of writing. With the ability to play on either wing or through the middle, she’s a dynamic attacking force with deadly pace.
Striker: Khadija Shaw - Manchester City
As the league’s top scorer with 19 goals and 3 assists in 17 games at time of writing, “Bunny” is a force to be reckoned with. Her aerial ability causes problems for defenders, as well as her strength and finishing prowess.
TOTS BWSL Mini-Release, SBCs & Objective
Left Back: Niamh Charles - Chelsea
Another strong Chelsea defender who can play on either side, Charles has provided 4 assists going forward as well.
Center Midfielder: Yui Hasegawa - Manchester City
As a steady presence in the middle of the park, Hasegawa has been crucial to keep City’s attacks ticking over.
Center Midfielder: Jill Roord - Manchester City
Roord is another midfielder capable of scoring goals from midfield. She’s also had a number of solid Ultimate Team player items.
Center Midfielder: Victoria Pelova - Arsenal
Pelova is the joint-assists leader in the league, and has been one of Arsenal’s best attacking players.
Left Wing: Lauren Hemp - Manchester City
Another dynamic attacking talent opposite Kelly, Hemp should also likely get into this team. She’s another fan favorite in Ultimate Team.
Striker: Elisabeth Terland - Brighton
Although it’s not been a great season for Brighton, Terland has shone as one of the best goalscorers in the league.
