Let's get straight to the point, this is an incredibly interesting SBC that the majority will consider completing. I can even push my Serie A bias to the side for this one, while we look at the stats, requirements and costs, and ultimately if you should complete the Ribéry End Of An Era SBC or not.
End Of An Era Ribéry SBC
Ribéry getting an SBC this early in the game cycle is fantastic, for those that love him in real life or from their time in past FIFA titles, it means you can complete the SBC and have months of use before the power curve will start to cause problems. There is a lot to love about EOAE Ribéry.
The first thing to note is the position change, Ribéry's base card could play CF, CAM, and ST, whereas this SBC version is a LW or LM for squad building. His workrates have been improved from Medium/Low to High/Medium which should be a notable difference in-game and he still boasts the 5* 5* combo for weak foot and skill moves.
When it comes to the actual stats, it's a great upgrade across the board with +21 pace, +13 shooting, +6 passing, +8 dribbling, +5 defending, and +17 physicality. The big notable upgrades are pace, stamina, reactions, and agility. Between the French and Serie A links, it shouldn't be an issue getting full chemistry.
Is End Of An Era Ribéry Lenghty?
For those of you on next-generation, I hate to bring the news that EOAE Ribery, cannot be changed to the Lengthy AcceleRATE style, however, this shouldn't be an issue. He is an Explosive player but can be changed to Controlled with the Anchor, Architect, or Marksman chemistry styles. Putting a Marksman on Ribéry and playing him centrally in-game looks to be an incredible option.
How Much Does EOAE Ribery Cost?
When the leaks arrived for a Ribéry End Of An Era SBC, immediately there was a bit of panic about just how expensive it would be. However, from the first look, it seems like it is a relatively fair price. He is 482,000 coins as it stands, and is split across 4 segments with a decent return of packs. Below you can find the requirements, cost, and pack return.
FC Bayern München
- Min. 1 Players from: FC Bayern München
- Min. 1 Players: Team of the Week
- Min. Team Rating: 84
The estimated cost is 32,300 coins and returns a Premium Gold Pack.
France
- Min. 1 Players from: France
- Min. Team Rating: 85
The estimated cost is 63,400 coins and returns a Jumbo Premium Gold Pack.
87-Rated Squad
- Min. Team Rating: 87
The estimated cost is 159,000 coins and returns a Rare Electrum Players Pack.
88-Rated Squad
- Min. Team Rating: 88
The estimated cost is 228,000 and returns a Mega Pack.
Nearly 500,000 coins might sound like a crazy amount of coins for an SBC player that is untradable but context is very important. Rulebreakers Ribéry was 600,000 coins before the SBC was released and is now around 500,000 coins. The End Of An Era Ribéry is better than the Rulebreakers version as well, with the only real downside for some being the positions he can start as for chemistry.
Should you complete the EOAE Ribéry SBC?
This one is going to be a proper investment if you are going to complete it, as nearly 500k is a lot to commit. However, there is a new Swaps system in place for the World Cup which provides access to an insane about of fodder which will help reduce the cost of this drastically.
With how good this new Ribéry looks to be though, along with the fantastic links and the sentimental value of it being an End Of An Era, it's definitely something I'm sure everyone is considering.
Complete or Yeet? Complete. Yes, it's expensive, but it's an amazing option for your team and will last for months before having an issue with the power curve. He's super easy to link and provides a lot of hybrid squad-building potential, plus the packs back are solid. Let us know if you think this new EOAE Ribéry SBC is worth completing or not.
