We have been given two more Icon SBCs with Base Pavel Nedved and Mid Frank Rijjkard, in this article we are covering Pavel Nedved. With how Chemistry is applied to Icons in FIFA 23, it will be important to identify how much of an impact it has on a card of this nature and we'll be breaking down everything about this, and will answer the question of should you complete the Nedved Icon SBC.
Base Icon Nedved SBC
Nedved has always been one of those Icons in FIFA that isn't really sought after, and if you were to pack him from a guaranteed Icon SBC, you would likely be a bit disappointed. There is an interesting dynamic that exists when reviewing SBCs like this in FIFA 23 as both next-generation gameplay featuring the new AcceleRATE system and the old-generation gameplay must be taken into consideration along with the chemistry system. From a first look, Nedved is someone who sadly will be much harder to link up, with due to being from the Czech Republic and cannot be made Lengthy as starts Explosive and can be changed to Controlled.
Nedved has 4-star skills and a 5-star weak foot, which is a big positive for those who like their skills and are able to use both feet. He has high attacking and medium defensive work rates the only issue is he cannot be played centrally as his secondary positions are LW & RM.
Nedved was 285,000 coins on the market before the SBC was released, and has dropped slightly to 275k since it was released. So how well has EA priced this SBC?
How much does the Nedved Icon SBC cost?
The Pavel Nedved Icon SBC is priced well in relation to his base card, the problem is links but only consists of 5 segments. The early pricing for the SBC is coming in around 250k, so EA has managed to undercut the price on the market which is always the first step for making the SBC more appealing. Below you can find the full breakdown of the requirements:
Born Legend

- Exactly Bronze Players
In return, you will receive a Two Rare Gold Players Pack.

Is it worth completing the Nedved SBC?
As with every Icon SBC, let's kick things off with the reminder that regardless of whether you plan to complete the full SBC or not, please make sure you always complete the Born Legend and Rising Star segments. The reason for this is that you are clearing out some bronze and silver players to get Four tradable rare golds in total, and there's always that chance of packing something amazing.
EA has priced the Nedved SBC well however in relation to his card on the market, however with the chemistry system works and options available for the price, these go against Nedved, but regardless it's definitely something that you can craft towards over the next month with duplicate untradables that you need to get rid of, but is it worth focusing on?
Complete or Yeet? Yeet. With what is available at this stage of the game and how the chemistry system is applied, he is certainly one card which is harder to link, while the SBC after the packs are done, may cost less than 200k, there are sadly better cards to go for. However, if you grind the game and strive for every card in the game and want to craft Nedved then it makes sense, but everyone else should avoid and focus their time, energy, and coins elsewhere.
