World Cup fever has arrived in FIFA Ultimate Team, and a plethora of content has been released into FUT, including World Cup FUT Heroes, World Cup Path to Glory Items, World Cup Swaps, and World Cup Player Items.
Many of the new Items are self-explanatory, but many players have been left confused by the limited time, Red World Cup Player Items. So, what are they exactly? And why are they only here for a limited time?
What are the Red World Cup Time Limited players?
The Red World Cup Time Limited players are special Player Items in FIFA Ultimate Team given to players who have been selected in the squads of the 32 National Teams that qualified for the FIFA World Cup. Some of the World Cup Player Items will have increased Attributes compared to their Base version, as seen in this example between Mikel Merino's regular Gold Item and his World Cup version.

How do World Cup Time Player Items get Chemistry?
As World Cup Time Player Items belong to the same World Cup League, they all link to each other in your Squad in the same way regular players from the same League do, such as Ligue 1 players linking to other Ligue 1 players, so you will need a minimum of 3 World Cup Player Items in a Squad to gain 1 Chemistry Point on all of them.
Their Clubs have been replaced by their National Team, so even players who play for different Clubs in different Leagues domestically will be part of the same Club, meaning you only need 2 of those players in your Squad to reach 1 Chemistry Point.
And, of course, their Nation is just their Nation, so that works in the same way as usual.
