EA has shared with us all the details for the latest Title Update coming to FIFA 23, which is now available for the PC (EA app/Origin/Steam/Epic Games Store) version of FIFA 23 and will soon be available on other platforms in the near future.
Please note that once Title Update #7 is released, cross-play will be unavailable to PC players until this Title Update releases to other platforms.
Transfer Market Search Reset Bug Fixed
Although Title Update #7 is relatively small compared to previous updates, it does come with a couple of necessary & helpful changes which will allay the frustrations of players since the release of the previous update. Most notably, the bug which occurred when your search parameters would reset each time you returned from the transfer market results screen after searching for players using filters has been fixed.
Another useful change, albeit minor, is the adjustment to corner kick positioning for the attacking team so that taller players will not place themselves in better attacking positions. This means that they’ll be more likely to be found in the centre of the penalty box, where you’re most likely to send the ball into, rather than outside of the penalty area.
Below is a summary of all the updates coming to gameplay and to Ultimate Team in the new Title Update.
FIFA Ultimate Team™
Addressed the following issues:
- When returning from Transfer Market Live Search Results after performing a search using search filters, those filters could have incorrectly returned to their default settings.
- Player Items sometimes displayed incorrectly on the Transfer Recommendations tile.
Gameplay
Below are the other major changes and corrections being made to gameplay in the upcoming patch:
Passing:
- In some rare situations, a requested pass would not be performed by the ball carrier.
Refereeing:
- Improved referee logic when deciding to call for an offside when the offending player was outside of the pitch’s playing area.
Set Pieces:
- Adjusted corner kick positioning for the attacking team so that taller players are more likely to place themselves in attack-oriented positions.
Animations:
- In rare cases, some tackling animations did not play correctly.
- Sometimes, an Outside of The Foot Shot animation did not occur when the shot was requested correctly.
So, now that you’ve read through all the major changes coming with the latest update, is there anything you believe they’ve missed? And do you think your own issues with the game have been addressed by the update?
