Only a couple of high-end players performed this week, with TOTW taking a hit as a result. Headlining for the week, we have Kane's hat trick, Hemp's goal and assist, while a pacey duo of Williams and Diaby also stand out.
TOTW 6 Predicted Starting XI
GK: Chiamaka Nnadozie (Paris) - 85 OVR -> 86 OVR:
When Lyon fail to record a win, it’s usually due to something special. In this scenario, that was the heroics of Nnadozie. The Nigerian keeper made save after save to keep the Paris clean sheet intact. The best goalkeeping performance of the week by far
CB: Abby Dahlkemper (Bay FC) - 80 OVR -> 83 OVR:
NWSL is one of EA's favored divisions this season, with multiple SBC and TOTW cards already, and this is showing with numerous players including these in their ultimate teams. Dahlkemper looks to be this week's inclusion after she scored the only goal of the game during a 1-0 win.
CB: Willi Orban (Leipzig) - 83 OVR -> 85 OVR:
The easiest defensive decision of the week goes the way of Orban, with the defender securing a perfect match rating from Kicker. This comes after the Hungarian scored one of their two goals during a 2-0 win.
RB: Mitchell Weiser (Werder Bremen) - 77 OVR -> 81 OVR:
Several Bundesliga options, especially in defence, occurred this weekend, and I can see at least two making EA's side. One of those is Weiser, who scored once and assisted another. The only debatable part of this one is his position, with both RB and RM being debatable.
LW: Lauren Hemp (Manchester City) - 86 OVR -> 87 OVR:
Another league that is getting a lot of preference is the WSL. Hemp is a popular player within that, and with the readdition of whipped pass + to her card, it could take her to another level again. She recorded both a goal and an assist as City beat Villa 2-1.
CDM: Curtis Jones (Liverpool) - 79 OVR -> 84 OVR:
With Salah featuring in the current Rush promotional team, he won't feature in TOTW 6 despite his goal and assist. It was actually Jones who claimed MOTM, though, scoring the winner during Liverpool's 2-1 win over Chelsea.
RM: Inaki Williams (Athletic Club) - 82 OVR -> 84 OVR:
With the side being weaker than usual, I think EA will have to take the opportunities they can to increase appeal. For that reason, I have opted for Williams, who scored twice, over Berenguer's goal and two assists. One of them will definitely end up in the side, though.
RM: Moussa Diaby (Al-Ittihad) - 83 OVR -> 85 OVR:
Likely to be one of the more popular choices this week is Diaby. The Frenchman has taken to life well in the Saudi division, with his assists especially standing out. With a goal and an assist during a 3-1 win this weekend, I would expect to see an IF Diaby on Wednesday.
ST: Alexander Sorloth (Atletico Madrid ) - 82 OVR -> 84 OVR:
With numerous strikers scoring twice this weekend, the competition made it difficult to decide between them. I would expect those in higher divisions to be given preference, so I opted for Sorloth, who scored twice during a 3-1 win.
ST: Harry Kane (Munich) - 90 OVR -> 91 OVR:
Although there is a possibility that Kane is snubbed due to his RTTK card, with that likely to increase in rating, the 91 IF won't change the price; therefore, I can see EA ignoring that. Kane scored a hat trick and was the only gold option to manage that this week.
ST: Luis Suarez (Inter Miami) - 82 OVR -> 84 OVR:
Messi is another player who can’t receive an IF due to the current promotion. Suarez also put in a superb display from the same match, though, with the Uruguayan managing two goals and two assists.
TOTW 6 Predicted Subs & Reserves
CB: Michael Keane (Everton) - 75 OVR -> 81 OVR:
After a poor start to the season, Everton are now showing some form. Their latest result capitalized on a poor defensive display from Ipswich. Keane scored the second of two goals with a superb strike from close range as Everton went on to win 2-0.
RM: Andrea Colpani (Fiorentina) - 78 OVR -> 81 OVR:
Fiorentina recorded one of the best results this week with a 6-0 away win over Lecce. Colpani scored twice and assisted another from RM, a performance that saw him highly rated by Gazzetta.
RM: Johanna Kaneryd (Chelsea) - 76 OVR -> 81 OVR:
Chelsea and Tottenham played out a seven-goal thriller, with Chelsea coming away with a 5-2 win. Kaneryd excelled throughout, managing two goals and one assist from the right-hand side.
CAM: Justin Kluivert (Bournemouth) - 77 OVR -> 81 OVR:
Bournemouth shocked Arsenal to deliver their first defeat of the season with a 2-0 win. Kluivert came off the bench to grab a goal and an assist, making him the likely recipient of the IF.
CDM: Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (Marseille) - 80 OVR -> 83 OVR:
Both Greenwood and Hojbjerg excelled during Marseille's 5-0 away win over Montpellier as they look set to be title contenders this season. Both players received an 8 from L'Équipe, but with Hojbjerg playing deeper, I would expect him to receive the IF.
ST: Mauro Icardi (Galatasaray) - 83 OVR -> 85 OVR:
I am anticipating some Super Lig squad foundations this week, so an IF would make sense to go alongside them. Icardi scored twice during Galatasaray's 3-0 away win, making him a strong candidate.
ST: Lucas Boye (Granada) - 76 OVR -> 81 OVR:
Boye managed two goals and one assist for Granada, and that assist should put him ahead in the pecking order over numerous other gold strikers with two goals.
LB: Abner Vinicius (Lyon) - 73 OVR -> 80 OVR:
Ligue 1 offered minimal options this week, but thankfully the reserves section had minimal competition, so Abner can fill two of the quotas after he scored once during a 4-0 Lyon win.
LM: Tom Rothe (Union Berlin) - 72 OVR -> 80 OVR:
Similarly to Weiser, Rothe could be classified as either a LB or a LM. I think regardless of what EA opts for, he will be included after receiving a 1.5 from Kicker for his goal and assist during a 2-0 win.
LM: Marin Jakolis (Macarthur) - 66 OVR -> 80 OVR:
This week saw the return of the A-League, and we will see if EA plans on including them from the get-go after a phenomenal display from Jakolis, who scored twice and assisted another during a convincing 6-1 win over Perth.
CAM: Pablo Torre (Barcelona) - 74 OVR -> 80 OVR:
Lewandowski continues to score for fun this season, adding another two to his tally. Another who managed a brace was Pablo Torre, part of Barcelona's never-ending stream of young talents.
ST: Richard Kone (Wycombe) - 60 OVR -> 80 OVR:
The only player with a hat trick in the reserves, something that very rarely happens, is Kone. The Ivorian scored all three of their goals as they continued their impressive start to the season with a 3-1 win over Peterborough.
