Player of the Month Martin Terrier
With a nominees list including a certain Lionel Messi, any other nominee winning a POTM vote will be greeted with disappointment for some, and while we missed out on a 93-rated POTM Messi, what we did get was a much cheaper and potentially better value alternative in POTM Martin Terrier.
In terms of his Item, Martin Terrier has been given a 4* Weak Foot upgrade, has 87 Shooting (including 90 Finishing), and looks to be a very well-rounded, versatile forward who has a strong link with the many French Ligue 1 players as well as Out of Position Hamari Traoré. But is his SBC worth doing? Well, let’s have a look.
How much does the Premier League POTM Martin Terrier SBC cost?
Currently, the price of the SBC is around 20,000 coins starting from scratch, but it will be cheaper if you have some untradeables in your Club that you can use. The requirements for the SBC are listed below:
Squad 1:
- Min. 1 Player from Ligue 1 Uber Eats
- Min. 2 Players with a Minimum Overall Rating of 85
- Min. Team Rating: 83
The SBC will expire on Saturday, December 17th, so you have an entire month to complete it if you want to.
What AcceleRATE Type is POTM Martin Terrier?
POTM Martin Terrier is Controlled with every Chemistry Style apart from Architect, which would make him Lengthy. Although, now that Lengthy Items seemed to have been “nerfed” (something that’s still up for debate), maybe that’s not such a bad thing!
Is the Ligue 1 POTM Martin Terrier SBC worth it?
With POTM Martin Terrier costing a measly 20,000 coins, this SBC is fantastic value, especially if you run a Ligue 1 team. Most of you will probably have quite a lot of assets by this stage of the game so it’s not too costly of an SBC to do.
I should mention that Terrier has a Road to the Knockouts Item, which costs around 12,000 coins on the market right now. This POTM Item only has +1 Attribute upgrades over that version so you could say there’s not much point putting your coins and fodder into getting an untradeable Item when there’s a cheaper alternative right there, which is fair enough, but the POTM version comes with a 4* Weak Foot upgrade, so I wouldn’t dismiss this Item straight away. Either way, you are getting a fantastic forward for a very cheap price so it's definitely worth completing this SBC.
