One of the best things about FIFA 23 Ultimate Team continues with the introduction of the Croatian Dynamic Duos.
Thankfully this time around it is an SBC instead of an Objective, so providing you have the coins and/or fodder, you will be able to immediately get both players into your squad. Let's take a look at both players and whether this is an SBC you should be completing or not.
Vlašić and Sosa Dynamic Duo SBC
Let's kick things off with Vlašić who despite not receiving an upgrade to skill moves or weak foot, he boasts 3* SM and 5* WF, which is a good base level for the current meta but he doesn't have any traits to speak of. He does have the ability to start centrally which is a nice option for squad building.
When it comes to Sosa, he can play as a LB, LWB, or LM depending on what you need. With the High/Low work rates, early crosser trait, and well-rounded passing, you will want to use him in an attacking manner but the WF and SM will be a hindrance at times.
Vlašić is from the Serie A and Sosa is from the Bundesliga so that is a nice way to help build chemistry in a hybrid, as if they're both in the same team you will get 1 chem point from the nation link alone.
Is Dynamic Duo Vlašić Lengthy?
The next two parts apply solely to those on next-gen, so if you're old on generation, feel free to skip to the pricing below. When it comes to the AcceleRATE side of things, Vlašić is Controlled and can be converted to Explosive when an Artist or Finisher chemistry style is applied. He CAN NOT become lengthy.
Is Dynamic Duo Sosa Lengthy?
For those desperate for a Lengthy LB, I'm afraid Sosa will not offer that for you. Sosa comes with the Controlled AcceleRATE style and regardless of what chemistry you try to apply, he will remain as such.
How much does the Vlašić and Sosa Dynamic Duo SBC Cost?
As usual, you can actually obtain just one of the players if you wanted, but if you complete both you do get an extra pack for completing the entire SBC. You can find the details on each segment below.
Nikola Vlašić SBC Cost & Requirements
- Min. 1 Players from: Serie A TIM
- Min. 1 Players: Team of the Week
- Min. Team Rating: 84
The estimated cost is 31,400 coins.
Borna Sosa SBC Cost & Requirements
- Min. 1 Players from: Bundesliga
- Min. 1 Players: Team of the Week
- Min. Team Rating: 84
The estimated cost is 33,100 coins.
In total, the SBC costs 64,500 coins if you complete both segments to get both players, and then you also get a tradable Gold Players Pack as well.
Is it worth completing the Vlašić and Sosa Dynamic Duo SBC?
To get one thing cleared up before we dive any further if either of these players has some form of sentimental value to you, then, of course, you should complete them. If however, there isn't any sentimental value and you are looking strictly from the aspect of upgrading your team, then there will be some varied opinions.
Complete or Yeet? Complete. HOWEVER, only complete the Vlašić segment. Vlašić is a nicely well-rounded player across the board that can play as a CAM or a wide attacking player, and if you play a 3 CM system, he could be the one getting forward regularly for you.
Unfortunately, unless you are using a certain system and can get over the weak foot and skill move issues that exist with Sosa, he isn't worth completing.
Maybe if you play a 352 for example and have him swinging insane crosses all game long and tracking back, then it would be a good fit but it becomes incredibly situational. Will you be completing the Croatian Dynamic Duos? Let us know.
