He was crucial in his first season at Inter on loan which is why they made it permanent in the summer and now he's helped them reach the Champions League Final for which Joaquín Correa has his Showdown SBC available in FIFA Ultimate team now!
The Argentine attacker’s SBC is expensive, coming in at a price of 387.9K coins and needing 2 segments to unlock the card.
The card has some key characteristics and stats such as:
- 90 Acceleration and 94 Sprint Speed with his Controlled AcceleRATE type will help him beat defenders in straight sprints
- Lethal shooting inside the box with 94 Positioning, 92 Finishing, 95 Shot Power and 90 Volleys with the Finesse Shot and Outside Foot Shot Traits
- Good overall ball distribution with 95 Vision, 88 Crossing, 91 Short Passing, 88 Long Passing and 96 Curve
- He’ll be responsive on the ball with 92 Agility, 89 Balance, 88 Reactions, 94 Ball Control, 95 Dribbling and 87 Composure
- 81 Jumping, 83 Heading Accuracy with his 6’2 Height will make him a good aerial option
- 93 Stamina means he won’t need to be substituted for 80+ minutes
- 90 Strength allows him to hold his own against strong defenders
- 5-Star Skill Moves allow him to have all the meta skills he needs to beat defenders and a 4-Star Weak Foot means he has decent use of both feet on the ball
- High/Medium workrates are perfect for a secondary striker role
His ideal position in game would be as a secondary striker in a 4-4-1-1, 4-4-2 or the 4-2-2-2. His qualities are best suited to play off a strong, pure striker and opening spaces for him, linking play and providing a second option in front of goal.
He has a similar player profile to that of Base Hero David Ginola. He’s better than Ginola’s card in a few aspects but they’re bigger frames with the high attacking stats and the 5-Star Skill Moves allow them to glide past players and put the ball in the back of the net.
The card does have a few drawbacks such as:
- His High and Average body type will make him slightly clunky and heavy in game
- 70 Aggression is quite low, it will hinder his positioning for headers and physical duels, 50/50’s with defenders
What Chemistry Style to use for Showdown Joaquín Correa?
The suggested Chemistry Style for Showdown Joaquín Correa is: HAWK. The +4 boost in Pace and +5 in Shooting help his strengths and the +8 boost in Aggression covers his weakness, bringing the best out of him.
Showdown Joaquín Correa: Complete or Yeet?
With Inter playing Manchester City in the finals they are the underdogs with a very slim chance of victory, which means this card is most likely not going to get a +2 which is a shame because then his expensive price tag could be justified. He’s a very good card but with similar alternatives being cheaper and a low chance of upgrade means that this SBC is not worth it. My verdict: YEET!
