Defensive stalwart, and Manchester United legend, Nemanja Vidić has been released as an SBC in FIFA Ultimate Team.
Whilst the Serbian's Prime Icon may not be the best version available, the TOTY Icon's high price (currently 1.7 million coins) makes this an attractive proposition.
The cost to complete Prime Icon Vidic from scratch is 157.6K, which makes him massively cheaper than his TOTY Icon version, and cheaper than buying the Prime Icon on the transfer market.
An 85 and 86 Rated Squad make up the majority of the SBC price. These squads aren't the easiest to grind fodder for, but they will definitely be doable for most players over the 86 days this SBC is available.
While the pack return looks mediocre at best, the packs are tradeable so you'll have the opportunity to earn some coins back.
Although Vidic will always get full Chemistry at CB, he will only contribute Chemistry to Serbian players.
However, from a gameplay perspective Prime Icon Vidic does not look particularly outstanding. Admittedly, his defensive and physical stats are fantastic; 92 Strength, 92 Aggression, and he is Lengthy.
Unfortunately his 78 pace and poor ability on the ball will let him down. I wouldn't be recommending Prime Icon Vidic to those wanting to play competitively, and for those wanting longevity from their fodder or coin commitment.
Prime Icon Vidic SBC: Complete or Yeet?
The price of this Prime Vidic SBC isn't unreasonable, and he'll be acceptable in-game for now. However, he is unlikely to last that long in your squad. Yeet — unless you'd like to complete for sentimental reasons.
