The Algerian international’s SBC is a little expensive, coming in at a price of 171.9K coins and needing 2 segments to unlock the card.
He has some very good stats and key meta characteristics such as:
- 88 Acceleration and 87 Sprint Speed with his Controlled AcceleRATE type will allow him to run up and down the pitch from midfield
- 93 Positioning, 87 Finishing, 87 Shot Power, 89 Long Shots and 95 Curve with the Finesse Shot and the Outside Foot Shot Traits give him excellent shooting ability form both inside and outside the box
- Impeccable ball distribution abilities with 98 Vision, 98 Short Passing and 93 Long Passing
- 93 Agility, 92 Balance, 86 Reactions, 96 Ball Control, 95 Dribbling and 91 Composure with his Unique body type and the Flair Trait allow him to be fluid on the ball
- 90 Interceptions, 88 Defensive Awareness and 85 Standing Tackle are very good for winning the ball high up the pitch
- 84 Strength and 87 Aggression give him a good chance to win both offensive and defensive duels
- 92 Stamina means he won’t need to be substituted for 80+ Minutes
- 4-Skill Moves and 4-Star Weak Foot are good enough for a midfielder
- High/Low workrates are good for an attacking CM
His ideal position in game would be as an attacking oriented CM in the 4-3-2-1. His stats and workrates make him almost tailor-made for that role and he will absolutely thrive there, making advanced runs late into the box to provide the goal or the final pass.
He has a similar player profile to of Team of the Season Pedri. He doesn’t have the Skill Moves/Weak Foot that Pedri possesses but his stat profile and collective presence on the field will be similar to that of the Spanish midfielder and will help dominate the attacking CM Role.
The card does have a few drawbacks such as:
- 77 Sliding Tackle is quite low and will hinder his ability to lunge for the ball
- 78 Heading Accuracy and 83 Jumping with his 5’9 Height make him terrible in the air

Flashback Houssem Aouar: Complete or Yeet?
The card doesn’t have the versatility that a lot of midfielders possess but the role that he can play, he will perform spectacularly. He is well priced with some good links, but he does need the Chemistry boost so if you can link him then this SBC is worth it. My verdict: Complete!
