Level Up Teji Savanier is here and to upgrade him you don't have to complete 50 games in the next 45 minutes! Hooray!
Instead we have some semblance of an actual upgrade grind which I will run you through today!
Is Level Up Teji Savanier 94 actually good?
The short answer is yes. The long answer is yeeeeeees?
In order to complet the 92 rated card you'll need an 85 rated squad which should be incredibly easy to come by with the amount of Objectives raining down on us at the moment. However, my tip would actually be to save completing this SBC until the end of the upgrade grind. All of the fodder you'll need to complete his SBC is delivered in the objective returns.
So we'll focus on the 94 here even though the 92 is no slouch:
- An incredible all round CAM. 90 plus base stats in all 4 attacking attribute categories.
- Immaculate dribbling punctuated by 99 balance and 96 agility.
- Sumptuous passing with 93-96's making up all of his passing stats.
- 94 shot power and 95 long shots make him deadly from long range espescially when combined with outside foot shot trait
- 5*/5* means absolutely no room for improvement here either
His ideal position in game would be as a CAM in a 4231 setup.
He absolute gives 1.3m coin Shapeshifters Joao Felix a run for his money on a comparison.
How to grind the Level Up Crafting Upgrade for Teji Savanier!
Before I packed Level Up Renato out of a preview pack, I too was grinding this game searching for coins and efficiency everywhere (now I have 10 million coins it feels somewhat futile). The Shapeshifters upgrade grind was something I absolutely ate up. Completing both sets of 50 required for Shapeshifters Camavinga and Shapeshifters Bravo whilst making around 350k profit.
I'm going to break down 2 different upgrade grinds ranging from hyper efficient to "let me just spend 100k to get a TOTS, a Shapeshifter, 94 Savanier and some fodder".
The Hyper Efficient Grind
It's those 3 sexy letters. BPM. In July.
- BPM, store everything for efficiency, opening on web app is quicker
- With off league non rare bronzes, complete premium bronze upgrade for 5 rare silvers
- Sell Rare bronzes and Major League bronzes to recoup coins
- With minor league bronzes and silvers from the silver upgrades, complete minor league SBC spending no more than 6k per run. MLS/EFL segment is the most expensive here.
- Open packs, sell all tradeable silvers for 600+ coins. Check kits and badges too.
- Use left over bronzes and non minor league SBC silvers in the Soaring Silver Upgrade. For maximum efficiency sell the rare bronzes you get back, otherwise just use them in the next bronze segment.
- Take the golds from the league SBC packs and Soaring Silver Upgrade packs and complete the Level Up Crafting upgrade
- Recycle 80-83 rated golds from the 3x80+ packs back into the Level Up Crafting upgrade
This is time consuming and for some it may be boring. But it is very difficult to lose coins doing this method. Not only do you have the potential of big returns from the League SBC packs, the jumbo silver pack is a guaranteed 5k+. With bronze sales and eventually the quicksell value of kits and badges you will be shocked at how efficient this is over time.
The Quickest Grind
You've got coins to burn and time is money, this is for you.
- Buy or acquire 144 gold cards
- Complete 24 Level Up Crafting Upgrades
- Open to get 72 x 80+ cards. Assuming 12 cards worth keeping, you have 60 x 80-83 rated cards.
- Use those 60 cards to complete 10 more Level Up Crafting Upgrades
- Open to get 30 x 80+ cards. Assuming you get 6 cards rated 84 or higher, you now have 24 x 80-83 rated cards.
- Use those 24 cards to complete 4 more Level Up Crafting Upgrades
- Open to get 12 x 80+ cards.
- Use the 6 lowest rated cards to complete the 35th and final Level Up Crafting Upgrade.
This grind is the quickest, and has built in expectation of keeping cards from the 80+ packs that might be better used as fodder in other SBC's. This will end up as the cost of 132 x Gold Cards (currently around 100k), but you should get back far more than that in fodder.
Is 94 Teji Savanier Worth The Grind?
For me he definitely is. Not necessarily just because he's a good card. But the packs you get along the way make this defintiely worth your money, even just as a way to accumulate fodder for the next big SBC you want to tackle.
