With FIFA 23 released later this month EA have began their annual FIFA Ratings Reveal for the new game. So far they've only confirmed the ratings for the thirteen FIFA 23 ambassadors, although more players will follow this week. Yesterday we saw 3 confirmed new Icons in Müller, Jairzinho and Xabi Alonso. Keep an eye on our FIFA 23 Reveals page, to see the latest confirmed players and stats as they come in ahead of launch.
- Kylian Mbappe — 91 (+0)
- Virgil van Dijk — 90 (+1)
- Heung-Min Son — 89 (+0)
- Vinicius Jr. — 86 (+6)
- Pedri — 85 (+4)
- Alphonso Davies — 84 (+2)
- Joao Felix — 84 (+1)
- Federico Valverde — 84 (+1)
- Kai Havertz — 84 (+0)
- Jack Grealish — 84 (+0)
- Dusan Vlahovic — 84 (+6)
- Jude Bellingham — 84 (+5)
- Christian Pulisic — 92 (+0)
In the images above an easy comparison can be made between the stats and ratings of the 13 ambassadors in FIFA 22 and FIFA 23. Although no players have received overall rating downgrades, players such as Chelsea's Christian Pulisic have seen some stats reduced. Another notable example is Manchester City's Jack Grealish who has had -4 pace downgrade to just 76 Pace. The biggest upgrade to a single stat seems to be Vinicius's +9 Shooting, whilst Juventus's Vlahovic received the biggest upgrade overall with a +6 to his OVR rating.
That wraps up our look at the FIFA 23 ambassador ratings. EA were clearly reluctant to hand out any proper downgrades — but would some have been justified? Let us know what you think of these FIFA 23 ratings in the comments below.
