When will FIFA 23 launch?
FIFA 23 officially launches worldwide on Friday, September 30, 2022, releasing on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia consoles, as well as on PC.
There is also a Legacy version available for the Nintendo Switch, which will feature gameplay and game modes on parity with the FIFA 22 Legacy Edition.
How do I get Early Access to FIFA 23?
For those of you who can’t wait for the official release date, the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23 comes with 3 days of early access, meaning those who order the Ultimate Edition will have full access to the game from Tuesday, September 27.
Another way to get early access to the game is via an EA Play Pro subscription, this is because EA Play Pro subscribers get free and instant access to the Ultimate Edition of the game, meaning that they too will be able to access the full game from September 27.
There’s also the option of signing up for a basic EA Play subscription. You won’t get the free and instant access to the game as EA Play Pro subscribers enjoy, but it comes with a free 10-hour trial for FIFA 23, allowing players to access the full game from September 27 too, albeit for a limited amount of time. Being an EA Play subscriber also gives you a 10% discount on the purchase of FIFA 23 and a discount on the cost of FIFA Points, giving a nice little saving for those of you who haven’t ordered the game yet.
The Standard Edition of FIFA 23 provides no early access to the game and therefore launches on September 30. We breakdown the best FIFA 23 version to purchase here.
Will there be a FIFA 23 Demo?
As with previous years, there will be no demo for FIFA 23. So, for those of you who weren’t lucky enough to get a code for the FIFA 23 Beta, September 27 will be the first day you’ll be able to get your hands on the new game.
